Hudson's two week appt

The time is just cruising by. I can't believe my little guy is getting so old! I need him to stay a baby because Kingsley is already so grown up.
I am going to try my best not to compare Hudson to Kingsley, but it's hard not to since that's the only child rearing experience I know.
Hudson is a pretty good baby. He eats really well which is a totally different experience for me since he has already gained a lot weight. His two week stats were:

Head: Average
Length: 22.5 Inches
Weight: 9 pounds 5 Ounces
(I forgot to write it down, so this is what Jeremy remembered)
So with his weight gain I am solely nursing. It is such a much better experience this time around. Nursing is so much easier and less painful. Although that is much easier, the fact that Hudson wants to eat so often can be difficult. He is a really quick eater only lasting 10-15min tops which is so nice, but he likes to eat every 2-3 hours. I know that is normal, but Kingsley always went closer to 4 hours and nursed for longer which in some ways was easier.  The thing that I really struggle with Hudson is his nighttime schedule. Besides the fact that he wakes up multiple times at night, he has the hardest time falling back asleep. He just wants to be held, and even when I think he is passed out and lay him back down he wakes back up. Kingsley just always nursed and went right back down so I struggle knowing what to do with Hudson.
I know it will take time, but I just haven't quite figured Hudson out yet. He cries randomly for no reason that I can figure out, constantly seems to have gas, and always wants to be held. He is just so different from Kingsley so I feel like a clueless new mom all over again. He really is a sweet boy, just very unpredictable.
Kingsley is very sweet with Hudson, always wanting to know where he is and give him kisses. He doesn't understand how to be soft still though and wants to lay on Hudson or force binkies into his mouth.  For the most part he seems to like the baby, I just don't dare to leave them alone together anytime soon.

Potter Halloween Party 2013

Every year my mom puts on her annual Halloween party. I always look forward to hanging out with the Potters and eating delicious food. Unfortunately I was having a really rough day so we couldn't stay long. Besides being sleep deprived from Hudson waking up, I was having back pain where I had gotten my epidural and feeling nauseous from taking medication without food. Add on top of that we are moving and had to have our whole house packed up in a week! Nonetheless Kingsley thoroughly enjoyed himself!
I tried to put on his last years costume, but he wouldn't have it :(
I just love this little wild thing!
I got lucky that he actually liked wearing his costume and didn't pull the crown off much.
Kingsley and his little buddy Jono :)
Some of the cute kiddos
Ella and Emmy
Kingsley loves jumping on the tramp, but it always freaks me out since he likes to run by the edges.
Our best attempt of getting a picture of all the kiddos. I love that basically none of them are looking at the camera.
Aren't Charlie & Miles costumes so cute!?
I just love Halloween!

Oakridge Halloween Party 2013

Oakridge throws an annual Halloween Party and I was stoked to take the boys. They even gave us a private room so I didn't have yo worry about getting my new little guy sick.
Why is matching these two so much fun!? I made Hudson's pants to match Kingsley's the morning of :)
Kingsley loves giving his little brother kisses :)
Kingsley ate super healthy of course
Some of Kingsley's favorite friends, as well as Landon, Meg, Hawkes, Grandma Kemp, Grandpa Kemp who are not pictured.

I was so excited to get the Max costume from where the wild things for Kingsley since I had wanted it last year. SInce they didn't make one in Hudson's size so I had to improvise.
I'm just so in love with these two wild things!
We went outside to see the reptile show but Kingsley wasn't interested at all.
Running around like a monkey of course
These two love birds :)
My littlest man
Gweynn is the cutest ladybug there is.
I'm so in love with this face!
Good times!

Hudson's Newborn

This time around I knew I was too tired to take Hudson's newborns. I knew it would be too difficult especially with Kingsley also. I had seen some fotofly photos I liked so I thought I would try them out. I like that they have multiple backgrounds all in one place as well as a quick turn around in getting you the disc of photos. I don't know however that I would recommend it as a favorite. I felt rushed with only 45 minutes and that's with Hudson being passed out like an angel the whole time. I can't imagine if he had been awake or fussy at all. I also re-edited a lot of the photos for over exposure & was disappointed that some were out of focus. But that being said here are some of the ones that turned out :)
He looks so much like Kingsley with those huge cheeks. Only difference is his oval head and sunken in chin.
Such kissable cheeks!
Hudson constantly has his eyebrows furrowed, making him look grumpy most the time..
I love all these ones we did on the quilt Sandy made for Kingsley.
I brought the fox to show the size of Hudson.
Kingsley was a nightmare most of the session, so luckily I had brought my mom along to help. I was sad that the photographer didn't get more of the two together. Or show the shoes I had crammed Kings feet in. ha
He loves giving baby brother kisses :)
Love this handsome little guy of mine!
