Whitney's baby shower

Forever ago (I'm way behind on blogging) I helped Blair throw a baby shower for our cute friend Whitney and her baby girl!

I thought it would be fun to do more colors besides pink, so yellow, gold & aqua made up the decorations.

It was so fun to hang out with old friends, and meet new ones too.

When we were younger almost all our friends lived in the condo's in Fruit Heights. Such fond memories were had there :)

Can't wait to meet Whitney's little lady!

Ballam/Hansen baby shower

This is the last baby shower I am going to blog about, I promise :) My aunt Pam threw me the most wonderful baby shower where we invited my mother's side of the family, Jeremy's Hansen side of the family and friends of both our parents. It was quite the mix of people, but so awesome to have everyone come and support us.

Pam's decorations were so adorable & fit for a little gentlemen :)

The food was yummy, I especially loved the home-made raspberry butter!

We were beyond spoiled with presents, everyone was so generous!

We got so many sweet hand made items. Those Hansen aunts are so crafty :)

I was sad Jeremy didn't get any pictures of his side of the room with his mom, aunts & grandma Hansen :(

Potter Baby Shower/brunch

I was delighted when my cousin Brooke offered to throw a baby shower for my Potter side. Not only does she have the best taste, but makes the yummiest food too! It ended up being such a classy brunch shower with cute decorations and all.

These cookies from the Sweet Tooth Fairy were a hit! I highly recommend eating ten on them :)

I love the simple but pretty paper lanterns that Brooke hung. Everything she does is so tasteful.

Loved her handmade chalkboard clips.

All the food was so so delicious, I had at least three servings of the breakfast casserole & the french toast which is my favorite breakfast food!

Opening gifts :)

Cute family. We were sad that some of my aunts & cousins couldn't make it, especially since Brooke throws such a great party!

I got so much great stuff including the cute pack n play I had registered for. It will be super useful since Jeremy thinks we are going to continue to travel regularly even with a kid.

Thanks again to all that came, it was so fun! I especially don't know what I would do without my cousin Brooke, she is the best! Jeremy teases that she is my mom because she is always taking care of me. :)

Friends Baby Shower

This last Saturday I had my first baby shower with all my friends. Jodie was the wonderful host putting together cute invitations and bringing all the fantastic food. I had stayed up all night the Friday before worrying no one would show up, or the food or decorations wouldn't work out.. To my delight everything turned out incredibly, I couldn't have been happier :)

So I wanted to stick with the color theme of my little ones nursery which is black, white, & grey with pops of gold. Here is the little dessert table, I was so happy with the way it all turned out!

Of course the hanging poufs were my favorite although my poor cousin Brooke had to re hang them a million times because for some reason the dang things did not want to stay up!

The food Jodie put together was delicious as you can see below!

Like I said all my worries drifted away when all of my cute friends starting showing up, I felt very very loved. 

I was so grateful to get SO many cute gifts! (Thanks Blair for being my photographer :))

As a party favor I had made these chocolate mustaches. (Super easy fyi, you just melt chocolate into the candy mold & put the stick in wala!) 

I wanted to use them as a prop to photograph everyone who came. My nephew Hawkes was my first victim. 

I guess we shouldn't have let him keep the prop :)

Some ladies dragged their feet, but I got a mustache photo of almost everyone, so thanks for being a good sport friends. :) I have to say I have the prettiest friends in the world!

I love how all the babies are trying to lick or eat the mustache i their picture :)

Thanks again to everyone who came out to my baby shower, it was so fun to see everyone & I had the best time! I felt so special that ladies even came all the way from provo, park city & ogden! You are the best. :) Especially thank you Meghan & Brooke for coming over the morning of and helping us set up, it was much appreciated!

And a huge huge thanks to Jodie for putting everything together, it turned out amazing I don't know what I would do with out you!
