A place for all things I love...

A few things making me happy today..

Today is a lovely monday for me! Here are a few reasons why..
I finally ordered this Casey O'Connell piece that I just can't stop looking at! "You can take the girl out of the swamp, but you cant take the swamp out of the girl." Jeremy probably won't like it.. so that's why I didn't ask him if I could buy it..hehe
Another reason I am so happy is it is finally summer here in mexico! It was so fun to look out my window and actually see people at the beach.
This guy :) Always giving me those puppy dog eye's because he wants a snack.
I had my first experience at Trader Joe's this weekend and fell in love! These are a few sauces I picked up, and am so excited to cook with them. If you haven't been it really has some awesome, hard to find, cheap stuff.
I am reading the Plain Truth, which is about an Amish girl on trial for murder. I just can't put it down.

Hope everyone is having an amazing week, some of my family is coming to visit me this weekend and I can't wait!!!
xoxo cass

  1. Cassie I just came across your blog. I finished that book in a day I just couldn't put it down.

As for Trader Joes, best store ever. Have you tried their soyrizo. It is a very good cheap dish to make.

Wish I still lived in Orange County, we would make a trip to come see you my husband would love to surf those waves.

  2. Hey Sienna!
Ya such a good book! Ya I wish they would have had a trader joe's in Utah. What is soyrizo anyways? I didn't know you lived in California, where do you live now? Do you have a private blog, I would love to be invited if so? My email is cassiempotter@yahoo.com :)

  3. Hey Cassie,

I just invited you to my blog. We moved from OC to Orlando, Florida. We really miss it over there especially TJ's and the beach. Soyrizo simiilar to Chorizo, like a mexican sausage but it is soy instead meat, has lots of delicious spices in it. You can put it with eggs and wrap it in a tortilla or with different veggies. The General Tsao sauce is also really delicious for being in a bottle. Next time you go let me know I will give you a list of things you need to try.

  4. Cassie! I am so happy you commented on my blog! The other day Anton and I were just wondering how you were doing. I am loving your blog! And, on a different note, I am going to have to read that book you are reading. I am always up for a good read! Keep in touch!
